Clients often mention that they never received an invoice, and didn’t know about the total amount due to the practitioner. This is normally because they didn’t see or recognise the email that was sent from smeMetrics with their invoice. Over and above, the email notification, we have added the ability for you to send an SMS to the client when the invoice is generated.
You can enable this feature by going to Settings and then My Mail Info, and enabling the Send Invoice SMS Notifications option, as per screenshot below.
Note #1 :: This is dependant on you having prepaid credits
You can load prepaid credits by doing an EFT (to the bank account listed on our website here https://www.smemetrics.com/contact) and sending the proof of payment to support@smemetrics.com.
Note #2 :: You can view and change the SMS that gets sent out
You can view and change the SMS templates by going to Settings and then My Email Templates, and selecting the SMS Templates template group, as per screenshot below. We use a separate template for private rate invoices and for medical aid invoices that are submitted to medical aid on behalf of the client.
